North Carolina Chamber Names Cole Hughes New Political Director
Seasoned Political Operative Joins State Chamber of Commerce to Advance Pro-Jobs Agenda

RALEIGH, N.C. – The North Carolina Chamber announced today that Cole Hughes has joined the organization as its new political director. As of Thursday, March 1, Hughes will direct the Chamber’s political program, coordinate with the government affairs team to advance the Chamber’s pro-jobs legislative agenda, and lead efforts to recruit and elect pro-business candidates statewide.

Hughes comes to the NC Chamber from the political database and grassroots consulting firm i360 where he worked as an Account Manager for major national candidates, elected officials, and organizations. In addition to his work with several statewide and local campaigns, he previously served as the Deputy Political Director for North Carolina Republican Party House Caucus.
