As the exclusive state affiliate for the National Association of Manufacturers, the NC Chamber is proud to celebrate our state’s leading employer industry and one of its most important engines for technology development and innovation in our state. Next Friday, Oct. 2, manufacturers across the country, including dozens in North Carolina, will participate in Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) by opening their doors to their local communities and students. Additional events will continue to be held throughout the month of October.
NC Chamber member Pine Hall Brick Company, Inc. is just one of the many North Carolina manufacturers with plans to join in the October celebrations for MFG Day. Companies like Pine Hall Brick work every day to reinforce the foundations of our national and state economies; Pine Hall Brick’s products, in their own words, “…have been used to build the homes, schools and public plazas where generations of Americans live, work and play.”
On Friday, Oct. 2 from 9 a.m.-12 noon, the company will host tours at their Paver Plant location at 350 Teague Road in Madison, NC, which is located in Rockingham County. The plant will continue to run throughout the tours. Look for signs directing visitors where to park upon arrival. NO RSVP is necessary. For questions or additional information: email@example.com. Visit their website for more information on this valued NC Chamber member company.
Is your company planning an event for MFG DAY? Take our MFG Day Survey and give us the details so we can help spread the word! For each NC Chamber member company that responds to the MFG Day Survey, we will send out an issue alert to our members with the event details included. Visit the official MFG Day website to learn more and find out how you can get involved, and join the conversation on Twitter by using the hashtag #mfgday.
