Throughout the day, leaders of the North Carolina Chamber bring together NC General Assembly and state leadership to talk about the upcoming session and policies that could impact the state’s business climate. Lawmakers look at thousands of bills in one session alone – help them put a face on issues like workforce development, tort reform, taxes, the regulatory climate and more. More than 350 attendees from a range of corporations, associations and public policy groups have attended this event.


This year’s Chamber Day is broken down in three segments:

After the Annual Government Affairs Conference, there is a Members’ Reception complimentary to all Chamber Members providing them with the opportunity to meet with legislators, business and community leaders. Non-Members who attended the Government Affairs Conference are also welcome to join. In years past, the reception has been well attended and has served as a place to connect and network with some of the most influential people across the state.
